COMMEMORATING ONE OF THE MOST HEAVILY FOUGHT BATTLES IN THE HISTORY OF WORLD WAR II
Ninth Air Force P47 Thunderbolts of the 406th Fighter Group, in company with P38 Lightning’s, support the advancing armor of General George Patton’s US Third Army as they prepare to relieve the battered 101st Airborne Division from their heroic defence of Bastogne during the final climax to the Battle of the Bulge, 24 December 1944.

Each copy of the Veterans Proofs is issued with an outstanding original pencil drawing personally signed by famous World War II aviators.
Completed over the past decade each unique drawing is conservation matted and depicts a legendary aircraft of World War II including the Me109, Fw190, Lancaster, P51, Me262, Me110, and Spitfire, and are signed by some of the famous aircrew from World War II.
Each drawing carries at least one signature but some have as many as five and include Bill Reid VC, Gunther Rall, Alfred Grislawski, Helmut Benneman, Viktor Petermann, the Dambusters and many, many others.
Signatures
The edition is personally signed by a P-47 pilot who flew with the 406th Fighter Group along with veterans from the Infantry, Airborne and Armored Divisions, who took part in this historic and ferocious battle.
THE LIMITED EDITION
Along with artist Nicolas Trudgian, these prints are also signed by a 406th Fighter Group pilot and a veteran of the 101st Airborne who fought at Bastogne.
