Description
German Tanks commanded by Hauptsturmfuhrer Michael Wittmann, blaze through a village in Normandy whilst attempting to repel the Allied Invasion, during the summer of 1944.
Since his launch as an Aviation and Military Artist by the Military Gallery in 2006 Richard has developed his skill with the pencil to such an extent that we believe we can safely claim that he is, alongside his illustrious father Robert, the best pencil artist working in the industry today.
Signatures
This new original pencil drawing is simply outstanding and a testament to the level of skill that Richard has developed. The piece is quadruple matted to conservation standards to include a museum quality reproduction of the Army Panzer Assault badge – awarded to gun crews and Panzer grenadiers for participation in three separate combat engagements.
Also included in the matte is the original signature of the man more synonymous with German heavy armour than any other - the legendary military commander ERWIN ROMMEL.
