The original profile of Spitfire MH434 was commissioned in 1977 by the late Battle of Britain Ace Geoffrey Page to raise funds for the Battle of Britain Memorial Trust and the memorial at Capel-le-Ferne. Just 500 prints were produced worldwide and Geoffrey then had them individually autograpghed by ten of his Battle of Britain comrades. He also had a small number additionally signed by three of the most successful and influential Aces of the Luftwaffe.

Signatures

This particular thirteen signature example was acquired by us some time ago and over the last few years we have added further signatures on our travels. It has now carries the original signatures of a total of TWENTY-FOUR RAF and Luftwaffe Battle of Britain Fighter Pilots, representing some of the greatest names of the period including SIR DOUGLAS BADER and GENERAL ADOLF GALLAND.
