Description
Messerschmitt Me109s of JG-26 peel off to attack Spitfires in defence of Luftwaffe bombers on ‘Aldertag’ – Eagle Day – 13th August 1940, at the height of the Battle of Britain.
Released as a three print series to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain these pieces are difficult enough to find individually but a matching numbered set is even more difficult to acquire along with SUMMER VICTORY and HURRICANE FORCE and is priced as a three print set.
Signatures
The final part of the trilogy depicts the might of the Axis forces – the Lufwaffe and their seminal aircraft the Me109 – with each print personally signed by FOUR top-scoring Luftwaffe Fighter Aces:
